Lovely Day is a New York staple. I started going there in 2003. And after a hiatus of a few years plus the pandemic, I was happy to learn that LD is still here! The food is really good and fair priced. It's an interesting fusion of Japanese and Thai with delicious Latin and English inspired desserts. The ambiance is comfortable and you might catch someone that you saw somewhere ;) the staff is pretty friendly! The basement has pretty good amplifiers where the owner runs a cozy but powerful listening room. All vinyl!

Ok, I didn't check out the reviews before eating here but what I got was really good and the place was really chill! I kept it extremely basic and ordered from the breakfast menu and got the egg breakfast sandwich, which I would recommend! The service was great and the waitress seemed to know the right time to come and check on me. I would recommend this sandwich and salad! lol

You must go to this adorable Thai restaurant if you're in the Nolita area. I've been coming here for dinner for more than a decade, they have never let me down. The chicken is consistently juicy and bursting with flavor in the ginger fried chicken. I adore ordering shrimp summer rolls and sautéed Chinese broccoli on the side. A 10/10 dish for a more substantial lunch would be grilled fish over spicy green curry! The pad thai or fried rice, with your choice of protein, is a traditional dish that I highly suggest! You can't go wrong because of their amazing cuisine. If you're in the mood for something sweet, they also have a killer dessert menu. My personal favorites are the baked chocolate cake and Mochi ice cream, but they also have other alternatives like cookies and gelato. They have a great selection of wines, beers, and cocktails on their drink menu! Sparkling wine is my personal favorite since it always tastes crisp and clean. Now, if you're feeling a little more daring, I suggest trying the Jalapeno Mezcal Margarita; it's delicious and a little spicy. This is a lovely and intimate restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating, and a lower area for larger groups or private gatherings. Time flies at this kind of place because you're indulging in delicious food and taking in the atmosphere. The meal is served quickly, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is courteous. Overall, the service is excellent. I would advise carrying cash, but you can also use an American Express card to make your payment. The restaurant is situated in the center of the tourist-friendly and reasonably bustling neighborhood of Nolita. Public transit is the most convenient method to get here; the restaurant is close to multiple subway lines. There isn't much parking in this area, so be cautious if you intend to drive.

Came here for dinner and this was a great find Pros: + Large portions of food + Amazing noodles - ?????? is just spicy enough and has a taste of Drunken Noodles + Spring rolls were simply divine + Great drinks - I ordered a refreshing cucumber martini that was perfect for the summer Cons: - Small interior - Only take American Express or Cash. Sorry, but this is kinda ridiculous. IG: QueenOfAdventureNYC
